The reason why “donkey racing” contests are not a popular sport?
After fieldwork and field investigations into horse racing, it was found that the horses moved only in a straight line in the field and that they not only prevented the other horses from going forward, but when its own rider or any other rider fell and landed on the ground, a horse tries prevention of kicking the fallen rider as much as possible.
But with the donkeys, when they were placed on the line, paid no attention to move around them, or to the direction of the racetrack. The donkeys only focus is on the opponent’s dowel that is situated on the left or right side of the path and tries preventing others from doing so.
Their only goal is to prevent other donkeys from reaching and crossing the finish line. Even if it means that the donkey itself does not cross the finish line.
In this day and age, this topic is used consistently in management science. This means that people who realize that they won’t be able to reach the finish line (or reach maximum potential in their business) will do everything that they can to obstruct others from reaching and maximizing their goals.
This small tale is sourced from a proverb, that says “that guy has started a donkey riding race. Which means he tries to prevent others from achieving their goals under any circumstances”. Today, this topic is very much used in management science. This means that people with disabilities who know they cannot end up at the end of the line (or be successful in their business) they do their best to obstruct the proceedings of the others by creating problems to prevent others from reaching their goals. So this little story is the source of a proverb, that says:
that guy has started a donkey riding race. Which means he tries to prevent others to achieve their goals under any circumstances.
