SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC
Hi, my name is Seyedreza, I’m the admin of the site plcgoods.com and in this video, which I already uploaded to Youtube (Apr 20, 2020) we’re going to learn about Introduction to Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC, CPU model 1212C DC/DC/DC. and in this layout of videos, we’re going to understand the PLC hardware, we’ll see how the processor works and we will wire the inputs and outputs to understand the basic fundamentals of how to wire this PLC.
The power supply of this PLC has to be provided with an external power source of 24 VDC otherwise if you connect this model of PLC to a supply voltage of greater than 24 VDC, it burns out.
1- The PLC has 8 digital inputs/ outputs, and 8 related LED indicators.
2- It has 2 analog inputs.
3- CPU status LED indicator
4- 1 PROFINET connector to connect to a computer for upload/download of control programs and 2 LED indicators to display the status of the PLC’s communication with other devices.
The PLC is designed such that the user can add other different types of modules to it using its side “communication module connectors”.
